The Techly IDATA EXTIP-373R is a professional signal transmission system that allows you to transport the HDMI signal over long distances via a Cat.5 / 6 network cable, using the conversion of the HDMI signal into a standard TCP / IP signal. Via a router or repeater thanks to a cascade connection, the HDMI signal can be extended "indefinitely". The IDATA EXTIP-373R also allows you to perform a splitter function since a transmitter can be connected to N receivers (max 253) to bring the HDMI signal to different screens according to the user's needs. Supports all HDMI specifications including full HD 1080p, deep color, lip sync and CEC; it also supports all high resolution multichannel audio formats including Dolby Digital Plus, 7.1 LPCM, Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio. Due to the high bandwidth consumption it is better to use these devices with IGMP routers, or alternatively on dedicated networks or on separate port based VLANs. It is also compatible for expansion with the Techly IDATA EXTIP-373.

Feautures of hdmi extender

• It receives the digital audio video signal from the local unit (transmitter) to which the HDMI source is connected via a network cable.
• The kit consisting of transmitter and receiver (IDATA EXTIP-373) allows you to carry the HDMI signal up to 120m using a Cat6 network cable.
• The local unit is connected to several remote units via a switching hub, thus creating point-to-multi-point connections.
