This wireless kit includes a PIR infrared motion sensor for installation near the front door, window, or stairs, and a portable receiver. Both the sensor and receiver are battery-powered (3xAAA for the sensor, 2xAA for the receiver). When the sensor detects motion, it transmits a pulse to the receiver, which activates the buzzer and a blue LED. This will alert you if someone tries to force the door, or if children approach the stairs or any other danger in the home. It's ideal for installation at home, but also in the office, in a shop to be alerted of a customer's entry, in a caravan, in the garage, etc. The system is plug-and-play; no setup is required as the sensor and the bell/snooker are paired at the factory. The infrared sensor's coverage area is approximately 8 meters, with a detection angle of up to 110 degrees.
